It is a "fact" - why don't you post one of the multiple articles saying keto is dangerous because it's devoid of nutrition? Articles saying Keto is too hard to sustain and people put the weight back on? You stated your opinion as "fact" by selective choice of literature. So, what's the difference?

edit — I thought I was responding to another comment on another article. But, adds some context anyway.

Yeah, 99.9% is an over-exaggeration, possibly.

Because Keto is unsustainable and lacking in nutrition. It’s far too difficult for the majority of people to sustain.

The fact is, there’s nothing wrong with carbs.

Carbs are the preferred energy source for our bodies.

Carbs are in everything, so keto essentially makes life VERY HARD.

You can say blah blah blah, it’s not hard. Do this, do this, do this. Yeah… hard.

I’d rather smash some sweet potato pre-workout, eat a lot of fruit, eat bread etc etc.

The message we should send to people is that dieting isn’t hard — we just make little improvements to our current diet as time goes on, to keep losing weight.

Then, we learn about nutrition.

We don’t crash diet — which is what keto is. A crash diet that is unsustainable for the vast majority of people.

So, I’ll continue to crusade against sensationalist diets like Keto. They just shouldn’t be pushed into the mainstream as they’re they reason people fail diets and just go back to their overweight previous self.

It is what it is.
