We could probably all look after our bodies a little bit better. It could be our diet, a lack of exercise, or a combination of both, which typically results in a physique and general health we’re not entirely happy with.

I can relate to this, even though it’s my article about five things I do to look after my body! We can ALWAYS look after ourselves a little bit better.

I’m 38 this year, but I often get mistaken for being in my 20s — I even get asked for ID occasionally when buying alcohol!

I put it down to the focus on exercise and nutrition I have had for over 15 years.

Here are five things I do to look after my body.

Exercise

The first thing that I do to look after my body is exercise. It probably goes without saying, right?

Amongst other things, exercise can build muscle, improve our fitness, strengthen our bones and joints, and improve our mental health.

I play social sports, hit the gym, and do 20–30 minutes of walking most days. I’m doing around 15 hours a week of exercise.
